Luz, Saya, and Minda, are sisters. They live on an island. One day, they were playing "hide-and-seek". Then, the volcano, in the middle of their island, exploded.
Minda looked for Saya and Luz. Minda found Saya. But Luz was not there. Minda and Saya left the island by boat because it was dangerous.
Minda and Saya arrived at a second island. Then they lived on the second island.
Luz was left behind.
When the volcano exploded, Luz was rescuing the neighbor’s son. His name was Felipe.
Several years went by. Felipe and Luz continued living on the first island.
"You saved me. Now I will help you. I will find your sisters and bring them home," Felipe said to Luz. Felipe then left the first island.

Minda and Saya lived on the second island. However, Minda could not forget Luz. Minda missed Luz. Saya stayed on the second island.
Minda tried to go back to the first island by boat, but she failed because of the wind and waves. Minda washed up on the shore of a third island.
On the third island, Minda met Felipe. Felipe, who had already settled on this island, showed Minda around the island.
Once again, Minda tried to take a boat back to the first island.
However, the waves knocked Minda out of the boat and into the sea. Felipe saved her.
Felipe and Minda became good friends and lived on the third island together.
The three sisters ended up living on different islands. Now many people live on Luz’s island of Luzon, Saya’s island of Visayas, and Minda’s island of Mindanao. These are the main islands of the Philippines today.
Luz, Saya, and Minda are watching over these islands from above the clouds.
